A Home Inspector in Your Corner
Benjamin Is Your Home
Inspection Expert
Benjamin prides himself on three exceptional qualities as a home inspector:
- keen attention to detail,
- hard skills to understand what he is looking at,
- dedication to doing a complete and thorough job.
When inspecting a home, he treats it as if it were his own, leaving no stone unturned.
It’s not that he doesn’t mind taking the extra time to make sure he is thorough; it’s just that it doesn’t feel right to do a job halfway. Feeling fulfilled with his work is something Benjamin has always striven for, and home inspection was the perfect match.
Benjamin’s journey to becoming a home inspector was paved with experience in home and property maintenance. He was raised to be a “do-it-yourselfer” and has a comprehensive understanding of home components such as plumbing, electrical systems, appliances, and more. He also has extensive experience as a roof inspector, having been on many roofs of varying materials. This deep understanding of these systems and how they interact is what he brings to home inspection, allowing him to utilize these skills to the fullest.
Certificated Specialist
Benjamin decided to pursue a career as a home inspector and received his official training from AHIT, the country’s leading home inspection training institution. He graduated from the program promptly and passed the National Home Inspection Examination (NHIE) on his first attempt despite the high failure rate of over 60%.
After obtaining insurance and certification, Benjamin founded his own company and conducted mock inspections for his friends and family to gain experience. He also joined the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI) to enhance his skills further. This experience helped him develop a detailed, thorough, and complete inspection process that reflects his philosophy while remaining clear, concise, and simple.
